WHY SWEDEN?
With its rich history and varied landscapes, Sweden is a traveler's paradise. The air and water are crystal clean, and there are thousands of acres of unspoiled forests and majestic lakes to explore, not to forget vast archipelagos along its coasts. Sweden's tourist attractions range from luxurious palaces and ancient towns to vast Arctic landscapes and the famed Ice Hotel. Sweden is known as heart of Scandinavia.
WHAT'S SO SPECIAL?
This land is home to Ikea, Volvo, ABBA, red-painted summer cottages, reindeer wandering in deep green forests and the 24-hour daylight of the midnight sun. While nearly 80 percent of its landscape is wilderness, Sweden's capital, Stockholm, is Scandinavia's grandest city.

HOW ABOUT THE CLIMATE?
Swedish weather and climate – You can divide the country into three regions to describe the weather in Sweden. Götaland to the south, Svealand in central Sweden and Norrland in the north. In Götaland, where you will find the cities of Gothenburg and Malmö, average daytime temperatures in summer average +15C to +25C, and in wintertime the mercury floats around 0C. In Svealand, where the capital Stockholm is located, it might be a couple of degrees colder. And Norrland enjoys short, dry summers. What is special about Sweden though is that the entire country enjoys +20 hours of daylight in the summer months and in the north of the country the constant light of the midnight sun.
